Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment and provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns they may have.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications; ensure compliance with policies.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of fixtures and displays; support loss prevention efforts.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and organized stockroom to company standards.
