Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform extensive walking, standing, bending and lifting.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal displays.
• Perform opening and closing procedures; process corporate directives and communications.
• Maintain fixtures, displays, and promotional effectiveness; assist in ordering merchandise and loss prevention.
• Ensure a clean, safe store environment and adhere to policies and procedures; supervise and develop store associates.
