Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking an energetic Retail Assistant Store Manager in Jonesboro, GA. You will support the Store Manager in hiring, training, and supervising staff to deliver excellent service.

You’ll lead teamwork, manage displays, and ensure accurate cash handling while driving the store toward budgeted goals. The role requires 2+ years supervising 15+ employees, strong communication, and POS proficiency; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 2+ years supervising 15+ employees in food services, manufacturing, production or retail.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Retail, Finance, Mathematics, Accounting, or Economics plus 1 year of supervisory experience.
• 4+ years of military service with supervisory experience.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with personal computers and MS Office; experience with POS systems.
• Driver’s license and dependable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in hiring, training, motivating and supervising staff.
• Lead meetings and help store meet customer and donor satisfaction standards; maintain displays and merchandising presentations.
• Ensure cash handling is per policy and drive the store towards meeting or exceeding budgeted financial performance.
• Ongoing training provided; potential to transfer to other stores as you progress.
