Family Dollar in Pensacola is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help oversee daily store operations, elevate customer service, and develop a strong team. You will assist with merchandising, staffing, and ensuring store standards are met.

Ideal candidates have previous retail leadership experience, strong communication skills, and a hands-on approach to training associates while maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for customers and staff alike.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform extensive walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Assist in organizing and transferring merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional displays and store-wide cleanliness and organization.
