Job summary

Bath & Body Works is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to partner with the Store Manager in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving store growth. You will develop associates, set performance expectations, and lead daily operations to execute merchandising and service standards.

You'll recruit and coach top talent, manage payroll targets, and reinforce selling and product knowledge while maintaining a safe, engaging store environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering sales and customer experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Prior experience in a manager role, preferably in retail.
• Ability to foster a customer-focused selling culture.
• Effective communication and adaptability; ability to coach in-the-moment.
• Ability to de-escalate store and customer situations.

Responsibilities

• Attract, hire, develop, inspire, and retain top talent.
• Set and reinforce clear performance expectations and goals.
• Act as Manager on Duty to address customer experience, vendor relations, or maintenance issues.
• Partner with Sales Leadership Team to support action plans and execute operations.
• Implement floorset direction to optimize merchandising and product storytelling.
• Lead opening/closing routines and payroll targets.
• Provide feedback to managers and guide daily team direction.
• Lead exceptional in-store customer experiences through product knowledge.
