Job summary

Signet Jewelers, owner of Banter by Piercing Pagoda, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in achieving sales and profit goals while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

You'll train and develop team members, recruit staff, enforce company policies, and help create an atmosphere of integrity, diversity, and teamwork with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• At least one year of retail experience is required, preferably with a jeweler or specialty retailer.
• Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners, using basic computer software and hardware.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
• Availability to work days, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in meeting sales and profit projections.
• Maintain customer satisfaction and store standards.
• Develop team members through training and evaluation.
• Recruit and select store staff.
• Follow and enforce company policies; perform other duties as assigned.
