Job summary

Signet Jewelers, home to Banter by Piercing Pagoda, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to drive store performance and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

You will assist the Store Manager, lead by example, develop team members, train on products and sales techniques, and participate in recruiting and scheduling. The role emphasizes integrity, diversity, teamwork and advancement opportunities within Signet's internal promotion path.

Qualifications

• At least one year of retail experience.
• Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
• Availability to work days, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in maintaining daily standards to achieve sales and profit projections.
• Contribute to an atmosphere of total customer satisfaction and exceptional service.
• Develop skills and product knowledge of team members through training and evaluation; and participate in recruitment and selection of team members.
• Follow and enforce all company policies and procedures and perform other operational and strategic duties.
