Job summary

Signet Jewelers, home of Banter by Piercing Pagoda, seeks an Assistant Store Manager to positively impact customers and drive sales. You will support the Store Manager in maintaining standards, training staff, and ensuring policies are followed while contributing to a high-performing team.

You will recruit and develop team members, promote a culture of integrity and customer satisfaction, and participate in operational and strategic activities to meet store goals.

Qualifications

• At least one year of retail experience is required, preferably with a jeweler or specialty retailer.
• Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners, using basic computer software and hardware
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form
• Availability to work days, nights and weekends

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in maintaining daily focus on standards to attain sales and profit projections.
• Contribute to an atmosphere of total customer satisfaction and develop team product knowledge through training and evaluation.
• Recruit and select team members and enforce all Company policies and procedures.
• Perform other operational and strategic duties as needed.
