Job summary

DTLR, Inc. in Owings Mills, MD is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in daily store operations, drive sales, merchandise execution, and customer service.

You will recruit and train staff, monitor inventory and expenses, and ensure adherence to company policies. Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and travel between district stores; up to 40-hour weeks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality and performance of store staff.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Lead and train store personnel; support annual evaluations.
• Assist with recruitment, selection and development of staff.
• Support expense management and budgeting efforts.
• Monitor shrink and inventory and ensure budget alignment.
• Ensure safety and business standards across operations.
• Assist in merchandising and customer service excellence.
• Comopletes other duties as assigned.
• Maintain a 40-hour standard work week; schedule includes days, nights, weekends, holidays.
