Job summary

Goodwill of Central Iowa is seeking a Retail Assistant Store Manager to oversee donated-goods retail teams in the Waukee and West Des Moines locations. The role focuses on managing operations, training staff, and driving KPI targets while upholding the organization's mission and values.

The position is full-time with a 40-hour work week, offering a starting wage of $18.00–$22.00 per hour plus an extra $1.00/hour on weekend shifts, plus a monthly bonus and merit increases based on performance.

Responsibilities

• Manage team and store processes to meet sales and production goals.
• Train and coach employees using in-person, online, and written processes.
• Use technology (POS, HRIS, LMS, MS Office) to track store metrics.
• Analyze expenses and sales to meet revenue targets and support mission.
• Provide performance feedback aligned with Goodwill's values.
