Dollar Tree in the United States is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, organize merchandise, and help train and develop store associates in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills, with duties spanning opening/closing, inventory, loss prevention, and maintaining a safe, welcoming store atmosphere.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain directives required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service and organizational skills required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays for effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, process damaged goods, and handle record keeping.
• Maintain clean, stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
• Protect store assets, including cash.
• Ensure policy compliance and safety guidelines.
• Support Store Manager in training and development of associates.
• Maintain positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Ensure store cleanliness and restocking of bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
