Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service and team development. You will support opening/closing, merchandising, payroll and scheduling, and loss prevention while ensuring a clean, organized store.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to lead and develop store associates in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, team oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives, maintain fixtures and displays, and assist in loss prevention.
• Support ordering, processing damaged merchandise, payroll and scheduling tasks.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and secure assets.
• Supervise and develop store associates and ensure a safe environment.
