Job summary

Dollar Tree in Franklin, Wisconsin is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development. You will help with opening and closing procedures, merchandise flow, and maintaining a clean, welcoming store environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain directives is required
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills are required

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily store operations and activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns
• Maintain merchandise on the floor and stockroom; keep seasonal displays maintained
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
• Process corporate directives and store communications
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store areas and secure assets
• Assist in payroll, scheduling, and cash handling; support loss prevention
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates
• Ensure promotional fixtures and displays are effective
• Other duties as assigned
