Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development at our Greenfield, Wisconsin location. You will assist with daily functions, help customers, organize merchandise, and ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming store environment.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to train and supervise store associates, adhere to policies, and manage opening/closing procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Retail/store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties such as walking, standing, bending, and climbing.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store operations and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal displays.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process directives related to store activities and communications.
• Maintain store fixtures, displays, and cleanliness to policy standards.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, record-keeping, and loss prevention.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates; ensure a safe, respectful environment.
• Protect store assets including cash and adhere to safety policies.
• Follow company policies and procedures and maintain professional interactions with customers and staff.
