Job summary

FirstCash in Baton Rouge is seeking an Assistant Store Manager with at least six months of managerial experience to lead daily store operations and develop the team alongside the Store Manager.

This role offers an hourly wage plus commission and a bonus based on store performance. Responsibilities include staff development, customer relations, cash handling, inventory, and asset protection.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of management/3rd key experience.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise others.
• Must be able to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day store operations and promote a positive work environment.
• Partner with Store Manager to recruit, train and develop staff.
• Open/close store, count cash, and protect assets.
• Manage loan/buy processes and store merchandising.
• Ensure operational standards meet FirstCash requirements.
• Communicate store goals and profit objectives clearly.
