Job summary

FirstCash is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Baton Rouge. The role focuses on daily store operations, staff development, and maintaining excellent customer relations. You will partner with the Store Manager to lead the team, recruit talent, and drive store performance.

This position offers an hourly wage with additional commission based on productivity and a performance bonus. It requires flexibility, weekend availability, and the ability to handle jewelry and general merchandise

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Cash handling experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible retail schedule including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a customer-centric environment and address issues promptly.
• Assist in training staff to meet FirstCash standards.
• Recruit and develop store team, manage customer relations.
• Open/close store, count cash, protect assets.
• Monitor inventory, loans, merchandising, and store systems.
• Drive profitability through financial statement review and goal setting.
