Job summary

FirstCash Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily operations, motivate staff, recruit talent, and manage customer relations in a fast-paced retail environment. This role combines base hourly pay with performance-based commissions and a bonus structure tied to store results.

Applicants should be ready to work across locations, supervise staff, ensure asset protection, and drive profitability while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of management/3rd key experience.
• Ability to work 40+ hours a week and a flexible retail schedule.
• Willingness to work in multiple locations.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to work with firearms certification (where applicable).

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner and rapidly addressing customer issues.
• Monitor and assist in the training of Pawnbrokers so their development meets FirstCash standards.
• Recruit top talent by sourcing candidates through company-prescribed channels.
• Opens and closes the store, including counting cash drawers and merchandise, and ensuring procedures are followed to protect assets.
• Ensures asset protection through inventory control and security procedures.
• Administer processes and procedures within the store, including inventory, loan management, merchandising, and reporting.
• Evaluate the store's financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal setting.
• Ensure operating standards meet FirstCash standards.
• Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to ensure value and integrity of loans issued.
• Complete assigned tasks and training for self-development.
