Job summary

Duchess is seeking an Assistant Manager to support store operations, coach the team, and deliver standout customer service. You’ll help lead daily activities, ensure shift coverage, and drive performance with the Store Manager away.

You’ll build relationships with customers and vendors, handle scheduling, inventory, and basic store systems, and maintain a clean, safe shopping environment. ServeSafe certification or willingness to obtain is required.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 1+ year leadership experience in retail or food service.
• Operations: Familiar with scheduling, inventory, and basic store systems.
• Tech: Proficient with POS systems and basic software (Word, Excel, Email).
• ServeSafe certification is required or willingness to obtain.
• Customer focus: Committed to creating a welcoming experience for every guest.

Responsibilities

• Support store operations including staffing, inventory, and shift leadership
• Coach and train team members to deliver friendly, efficient service
