Family Dollar in Mount Olive, NC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service and team development. You will supervise day-to-day activities and support the Store Manager in achieving store goals.

This role requires strong communication, the ability to lift up to 55 lbs, and experience in retail management. You will help train associates, handle opening/closing procedures, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery or drug stores preferred.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Assist in payroll, scheduling, and cash register deposits and receipts.
