You’ll oversee inventory, schedules, and training, stepping in during the Store Manager’s absence. The role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail environment, preferably footwear/athletic apparel.
• 1–3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to assist in managing a team and meet goals.
• Self-starter with initiative to take on tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking ability.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in controlling assets and loss prevention.
• Consult with Store Manager to set action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Assume store responsibility in Store Manager's absence.
• Assist in recruitment, training, and evaluation of staff.
• Provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers across departments.
• Monitor inventory, sales statistics, and expenses to support profitability.
• Direct staff to ensure department responsibilities and standards are met.
• Maintain quality customer service and follow the customer service manual.
