Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking an Assistant Manager in Fresno, CA to lead the store in the manager's absence and act as a business owner within the marketplace. You will partner with the Store Manager to drive sales, service, and overall store performance.

Responsibilities include achieving KPIs, coaching staff, executing visual standards, and ensuring policy compliance while maintaining excellent customer care.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 1+ year of management/supervisory experience with direct reports.
• Knowledge of retail operations, processes and policies.
• Strong basic math skills; familiarity with cash register, computers, and calculators.
• Must have strong command of English for written and oral communication.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Demonstrated high level selling skills.
• Proven ability to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Delivers quality and improvements to exceed KPIs: Comp Sales, % Sales to Plan, Conversion, Customer Count, Comp Growth.
• Strengthens understanding of retail business to drive sales and market awareness.
• Supports store business plans to maximize sales and profit.
• Partners with store manager to lead and develop the team.
• Delivers constructive feedback and works with the Store Manager on development.
• Executes visual directives and maintains store appearance.
• Maintains positive relationships with doctors and staff.
• Ensures policy compliance and handles administrative duties.
• Works a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
