Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Kentucky, Westport Road Retail Store, is seeking a full-time Retail Assistant Manager in Louisville, KY. The role drives store sales by supervising textile donations, pricing, stocking, and operating the cash register, while ensuring staff perform tasks effectively and confidential payroll duties are completed in coordination with the Store Manager.

Qualified candidates will display leadership, adaptability for a rotating schedule, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

Retail supervisory experience or demonstrated leadership in a store setting.
Ability to supervise hourly staff and coordinate store operations with the Store Manager.
Strong communication and training skills to develop staff performance.

Responsibilities

Open and close the facility; act as key holder.
Supervise daily tasks of hourly staff and handle routine store operations.
Train, coach and support staff to meet production and sales goals.
Maintain store cleanliness, organization and customer service on sales floor and drive-thru donations.
Ensure proper stock rotation and efficient processing of goods.
Process daily cash deposits and reconciliations; resolve cash issues.
Complete confidential payroll documents such as Form I-9 and direct deposit info.
Perform other duties as assigned.
