Job summary

Goodwill Kentucky is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations in a fast-paced environment at the Park Hill Store in Lexington, KY. You will lead a team, ensure excellent customer service, and assist with merchandising, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and 1–3 years of progressive retail experience. This full-time position offers benefits and opportunities to contribute to the mission of Goodwill.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of progressive retail or operations experience preferred.
• Ability to lead a team and manage store operations with a focus on customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assumes management responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Assists in ordering merchandise, payroll, scheduling and cash deposits/receipts.
• Supervises and develops Store Associates on Goodwill operating practices.
• Maintains a positive shopping experience with excellent customer service and well-stocked store.
• Supports Store Manager in loss prevention efforts.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.
