Family Dollar Stores Of Kentucky LP is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development at our Burkesville location. The role includes assisting with daily functions, merchandising, and ensuring a clean, organized store environment.

You will help train and develop store associates, maintain strong customer service standards, and adhere to company policies. This position requires energy, reliability, and a focus on safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address any questions or concerns.
• Help organize, transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communicate store activities.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and loss prevention; maintain store areas.
