Job summary

White House Black Market in Columbia, SC is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager with daily leadership and a focus on delivering memorable customer experiences. You will help drive sales, mentor associates, and maintain an inviting, well-branded store environment.

The role requires 18+, 3 years of retail management experience preferred, and flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.
3 years of retail management experience preferred.
Flexible availability — including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products as well as maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom, operate the register, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Build, lead, and develop a team to deliver a customer-centered experience.
Take ownership to achieve the financial goals of the store and motivate the team.
Assist in the hiring, development, and coaching of associates.
Lead by example on the sales floor, sharing product knowledge and an omni-channel approach.
Maintain a visually inspiring store environment that reflects brand standards.
Take ownership to ensure safe and efficient store operations including inventory management, daily replenishment of floor merchandise, and execution of inventories.
