Job summary

Old Navy seeks an Assistant Manager to set the tone in-store and drive profitable sales through customer and product operations, merchandising, and talent development. You’ll support execution of store strategy with leadership from the General Manager to build a high-performing team delivering an exceptional customer experience.

You will recruit and coach Brand Associates, Experts, and Leads, manage costs and efficiencies, and ensure omni-channel alignment for a frictionless shopping experience.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of retail management experience.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Strong communication with customers and team to meet goals.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Drive store sales and profitability through customer focus and operations.
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associates and Experts.
• Own assigned area of responsibility and drive action plans.
• Lead by coaching to deliver a best-in-class customer experience.
• Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures.
