Job summary

Old Navy is seeking an Assistant Manager to set the tone for the store and lead a high-performing team. You will drive profitable sales growth through customer operations, merchandising and talent development, while collaborating with the General Manager to execute the store strategy.

You will recruit and coach Brand Associates and Experts, manage assigned areas, implement efficiency plans, and ensure SOPs are consistently followed to deliver a best-in-class customer experience.

Qualifications

• Must have retail management experience and strong communication skills.
• Ability to lead and coach teams to deliver a best-in-class customer experience.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Drive store sales and profitability through customer and product operations.
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associate and Expert teams.
• Own area of responsibility and execute action plans for efficiency.
• Perform Service Leader duties and ensure SOPs are followed.
• Represent the brand and monitor the retail landscape; promote community involvement.
• Leverage omni-channel to deliver a frictionless customer experience.
• Ensure all compliance standards are met.
