Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in the Montgomery County area to help manage store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily activities, support staff, and ensure merchandise is well-organized and displayed.

The role requires strong communication and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced retail environment. The position is part-time and based at our Pottstown location, with responsibilities including opening/closing procedures,

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain directives.
Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
Maintain promotional fixtures and displays, order merchandise, and assist with loss prevention.
Support the Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing store associates.
Ensure a safe, respectful environment and maintain store cleanliness.
