Job summary

Family Dollar in Attleboro, MA is seeking a Part-Time Store Associate responsible for daily store operations, customer service, merchandising, and cash handling.

You will support the Store Manager, assist with opening/closing, maintain clean aisles, and help ensure promotional displays are well stocked and inviting.

The role offers a friendly team environment and opportunities to develop skills while serving customers in a busy retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required/preferred.
• Retail or grocery experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner.
• Move merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional displays and store fixtures.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and handling damaged items.
• Keep store areas stocked and organized.
• Protect store assets, including cash.
• Adhere to safety policies; supervise/train associates as needed.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
