This role involves opening/closing duties, following corporate directives, and maintaining clean, well-stocked areas. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (or equivalent) and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail or grocery preferred.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform active store duties.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Assist in organizing and transferring merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures when needed.
• Process corporate directives and maintain city/ store communications.
• Maintain promotional displays and store frontage effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, handling damaged goods, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Keep store areas well-stocked and organized per company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets including cash; adhere to safety policies.
• Train and develop Store Associates; foster a positive, respectful environment.
