Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives including Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, and other communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays; keep store areas neat and presentable.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping (payroll, scheduling, cash deposits), and loss prevention.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Ensure safety policies are followed and store associates comply.
• Support Store Manager in supervising, training, and development of Store Associates.
• Create a positive, safe environment with professional interactions with customers and staff.
