Job summary

Old Navy is looking for an Assistant Manager to set the tone for the store and team, driving profitable sales through customer and product operations, merchandising, and talent development. You will support the execution of store strategy to meet performance goals and coach a high-performing team to deliver a best-in-class customer experience.

You are a current or former retail employee with 1–3 years of management experience, a high school diploma, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of retail management experience.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Good communicator with the ability to interact with customers and the team to meet goals.
• Passionate about retail and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Driven by metrics to deliver results and business goals.
• Willing to coach and mentor others and lead by example.
• Flexible schedule including holiday, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Support strategies and processes to drive store sales and deliver results through a customer-centric mindset.
• Recruit, hire and develop highly productive Brand Associate and Expert teams.
• Own assigned area of responsibility.
• Implement action plans to maximize efficiencies and productivity.
• Perform Service Leader duties.
• Ensure consistent execution of SOPs.
• Represent the brand and understand the competition and retail landscape.
• Promote community involvement.
• Leverage omni-channel to deliver a frictionless customer experience.
• Ensure all compliance standards are met.
