Job summary

Citi Trends is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, lead a team, and drive staffing efforts in a fast-paced retail environment. Working closely with the Store Manager, you will help optimize sales performance, execute merchandising standards, and ensure excellent customer experiences.

You will assist in hiring, onboarding, and developing store associates, while maintaining loss prevention and policy compliance.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
2–4 years of experience as an Assistant Manager or similar retail leadership role.
3–5 years of overall retail experience preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and people leadership skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
Ability to perform basic math calculations, including percentages.

Responsibilities

Support daily store operations to meet sales goals and service standards.
Monitor sales activity and guide associates to deliver excellent customer service.
Assist with inventory control, transactions, and shrink prevention.
Ensure compliance with Citi Trends policies and standards.
Supervise staff, assist with hiring, onboarding, and training.
