Hibbett I City Gear is seeking an Assistant Manager in Jasper, TX. You will assist the Store Manager with daily operations, merchandising, and customer service, while acting as a reliable leader during the Store Manager’s absence.

The role emphasizes in-depth product knowledge, policy adherence, and exceptional customer interactions to drive store performance. Previous retail leadership and strong communication are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, preferably footwear and athletic apparel.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lead a team and drive store goals.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in controlling store assets and operations.
• Consult with Store Manager to set action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Act as store lead in the Store Manager's absence.
• Provide guidance to employees and customers across departments.
• Monitor inventory, sales statistics, and expenses to support profitability.
• Direct staff to ensure departmental standards are met and communicated to management.
