Job summary

Hibbett I City Gear is seeking an Assistant Manager in Mount Pleasant, TX to support the Store Manager in daily operations and customer engagement. You will provide leadership across departments, ensure merchandising standards, and uphold store policies while delivering outstanding service to shoppers.

Responsibilities include supervising staff in the Store Manager's absence, assisting in recruiting and training, and maintaining profitability through accurate inventory control and service

Qualifications

• Experience in retail environment, preferably footwear/apparel.
• 1–3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-player with initiative and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in controlling assets and operations.
• Help establish action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Cover Store Manager duties in their absence.
• Provide guidance to employees and customers across departments.
• Monitor inventory, sales, and expenses to support profitability.
• Maintain quality customer service per policy manuals.
