Job summary

Old Navy is seeking an Assistant Manager to set the tone in-store, lead the team, and bring our brand to life for customers. You will drive profitable sales through customer focus, merchandise, and talent development, in collaboration with the GM or AGM to coach Leads and Brand Associates toward peak performance.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of retail management, are strong communicators, and can adapt to a fast-paced environment. Flexibility for holidays, evenings, and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Retail management experience (1–3 years) preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to travel as required and lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Support strategies to drive store sales and deliver results through a customer-centric mindset.
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associate and Expert teams.
• Own assigned area of responsibility within the store.
• Implement action plans to maximize efficiencies and productivity.
• Perform Service Leader duties.
• Ensure consistent execution of SOPs.
• Represent the brand and understand the retail landscape.
• Promote community involvement.
• Leverage omni-channel to deliver a frictionless customer experience.
• Ensure all compliance standards are met.
