World Market is hiring an Assistant Manager in Seattle area to lead a high-performance team and drive sales while upholding our customer-first culture and brand standards. You will work with the Store Manager to execute daily priorities, coach staff, and ensure exceptional store operations.

The role requires 2+ years of leadership in fast-paced retail, flexible availability including nights/weekends, and physical tasks such as lifting up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of leadership experience in a fast-paced specialty retail environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, climb ladders, and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Minimum age: 21 years.

Responsibilities

• Model and lead a customer-first selling culture by driving engagement, customer loyalty initiatives, visual standards, and brand values.
• Analyze business trends utilizing all available reporting to problem-solve business opportunities and take appropriate action.
• Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performance, customer-focused team that aligns with company values through training, recognition, and performance management.
• Lead and manage daily tasks and duties in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Support and maintain a safe work environment through ongoing safety training, awareness, and accountability.
