Job summary

Old Navy in Alaska is seeking an Assistant Manager to set the store tone and lead a high-performing team. You will drive profitable sales growth across customer operations, merchandising and talent development while coaching Leads and Brand Associates to deliver a best-in-class customer experience.

Collaborating with the General Manager, you will execute the store strategy, manage operations, and ensure compliant, efficient store processes in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of retail management experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication with customers and teams.
• Thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Driven by metrics to meet business goals.
• Leads, coaches and mentors team members.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, evenings, weekends.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set the tone for the store and team to deliver brand experience.
• Drive profitable sales growth across customer operations, merchandising and talent development.
• Support execution of store strategy to hit performance goals.
• Coach Leads, Experts and Brand Associates for high performance.
• Partner with GM/AGM to implement action plans and maximize productivity.
• Ensure consistent SOP execution and compliance.
• Represent Old Navy and understand competitive retail landscape.
• Promote community involvement and omni-channel experience.
