Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent and ability to read and interpret operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail or grocery preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties.
• Strong communication and customer service skills required.
• Team-oriented, proactive problem-solving and organizational abilities required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities to keep operations smooth.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Aid in merchandise transfer from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Follow corporate directives and maintain displays and fixtures.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and loss prevention tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organized store and secure assets.
• Support Store Manager in supervising and developing associates.
• Ensure a safe, respectful environment for customers and staff.
