Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives (e.g., merchandise schematics) is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling and repetitive lifting.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and daily activities.
• Provide friendly customer assistance and answer questions.
• Assist merchandise flow from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Follow corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain displays and promotional setups.
• Assist ordering, damage handling, payroll/scheduling, and deposits.
• Keep store and stockroom well organized and stocked.
• Protect cash and company assets.
• Enforce policies and safety guidelines.
• Assist in supervising and developing Store Associates.
• Foster positive, safe customer and team interactions.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
