Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, help customers, and ensure merchandise is properly stocked and displayed.

You will also participate in opening and closing procedures, payroll records, scheduling, and loss prevention tasks, while maintaining a safe, friendly environment for customers and associates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store functions and activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner.
• Organize merchandise from delivery to floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
