Cash America Pawn in Memphis, TN is seeking an Assistant Store Manager with a minimum of six months of management experience. The role entails leading daily store operations, developing personnel, recruiting, and driving customer satisfaction while supporting financial goals.

You will partner with the Store Manager to supervise staff, qualify loans, manage inventory, and uphold asset protection standards. Compensation includes hourly pay plus commission and bonus based on store performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum Age: 18 years old.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Must be able to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Must have cash handling experience.
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise others.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent work ethic and strong business sense.

Responsibilities

• Foster a customer-centric environment by engaging customers professionally.
• Train Pawnbrokers to meet FirstCash standards.
• Recruit top talent through company channels.
• Open/close store, count cash, protect assets.
• Ensure asset protection through inventory and safety procedures.
• Manage inventory, loans, merchandising, reporting.
• Drive profitability through financial statement analysis.
• Maintain FirstCash standards in operations.
• Monitor loan qualification and buying processes.
• Complete assigned training and tasks.
• Communicate store mission and objectives to staff.
• Keep product knowledge up-to-date.
• Act as manager on duty when Store Manager is absent.
• Other duties as assigned.
