Cash America Pawn is hiring a Retail Assistant Store Manager in Tennessee to lead daily store operations and customer interactions. You will work alongside the Store Manager to coach staff, manage loans, and promote a positive, productive environment.

This role offers an hourly wage with commission potential and a strong benefits package. The position requires basic leadership experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Six months of management/3rd key experience.
• Willing to work 40+ hours per week with a flexible retail schedule (weekends/holidays).
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner and rapidly addressing customer issues.
• Monitor and assist in the training of Pawnbrokers so their development meets the prescribed FirstCash standards.
• Recruit top talent by sourcing candidates through company-prescribed channels.
• Open and close the store, including counting cash drawers and merchandise, and ensuring procedures protect assets.
• Ensure asset protection through inventory control and security procedures.
• Administer store operations including inventory, loans, merchandising, systems, and reporting.
• Evaluate financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal setting.
• Ensure operating standards meet FirstCash standards and monitor loan qualification/buying processes.
• Communicate clearly with employees; stay up-to-date on product knowledge; be prepared to act as manager on duty.
