J.Crew Group (JCG) is seeking an Assistant Manager to join the leadership team. You will drive profitability through authentic customer connections, Brand loyalty, and community engagement.

Provide coaching to the sales team and align with leadership to adapt strategies for business success and smooth operations. The role requires 1–2 years in retail management, a passion for the brand, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail management experience required.
• Passion for brand, customers, and teams.
• Stay updated with fashion trends and industry developments.
• Embrace teamwork, flexibility and courtesy in execution.
• Innovate and solve problems while navigating uncertainty.
• Scheduling flexibility including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Director and Associate Store Manager to influence profitability.
• Own division of responsibility (Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling).
• Manage store operations, systems, and technology with accountability.
• Assist with recruiting, training and development as needed.
• Collaborate with leadership to foster a collaborative working environment.
• Ensure the team consistently exceeds goals and delivers best-in-class service.
• Lead product knowledge sessions to boost customer connection.
• Develop innovative community engagement and loyalty events.
• Step into various sales floor roles as needed.
