Job summary

Hibbett, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager for our Texarkana, TX store. You will support the Store Manager in daily operations, merchandising, and customer service, ensuring a high-standard shopping experience.

This hourly, non-exempt position requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. You’ll help train staff, manage scheduling, and promote merchandise while protecting store assets.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a retail environment, preferably footwear/apparel.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage a team and achieve goals.
• Self-starter with initiative.
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Assume store leadership in the Store Manager’s absence.
• Provide guidance to employees and customers across departments.
• Protect assets and maintain internal controls; report fraud risk.
• Deliver extraordinary customer service per the manuals; assist customers on entry and during peak times.
