Qualifications

• Experience in retail, footwear and athletic apparel preferred.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-starter with initiative to take on important tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking.
• Team player, passionate about customer service and selling merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in controlling assets of Hibbett I City Gear.
• Consult with Store Manager to establish action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Assume store responsibilities in Store Manager's absence.
• Recruit, train and evaluate store personnel.
• Provide guidance to employees and customers across departments.
• Monitor inventory, sales statistics, and expenses for profitability.
• Direct staff to ensure department responsibilities and standards are met.
• Keep Store Manager informed about inventory movement and trends.
• Maintain high-quality customer service per manuals.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise offered by the store.
• Uphold company policies and procedures in all operations.
• Protect assets and financial information; report fraud risk.
