Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day store activities and help supervise and train store associates.

Responsibilities include opening and closing procedures, organizing merchandise, maintaining store cleanliness, handling payroll and scheduling, and ensuring compliance with company policies. This role offers opportunities for growth within a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns
• Organize, transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor as needed and maintain seasonal areas of the store
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
• Help the Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates
