Dollar General is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run a clean, customer-focused store. You will supervise staff, manage merchandise, process deposits, and support the Store Manager with daily operations including scheduling and training.

The role involves stocking, cashiering, and ensuring inventory accuracy while protecting company assets. Candidates should have strong communication, organization, and cash control skills, with prior retail supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment and six months supervisory experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet customers and operate cash register.
• Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week.
• Assist Store Manager with scheduling employees and training.
• Follow work processes to manage merchandise, including receiving, stocking, and rotating merchandise.
• Assist in maintaining inventory levels and controlling damages and markdowns.
• Assist with planograms and merchandise presentation.
• Ensure cashier accountability and deposit procedures; count tills and deposit money.
