Job summary

Dollar General is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run a clean, customer-first store. Under the Store Manager, you’ll supervise staff, manage merchandise presentation, and handle deposits and paperwork.

You’ll perform stocking, cashiering and support store operations to maximize profitability and protect assets. The role requires strong communication, organization, and leadership skills, with preferred retail supervisory experience and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer service at the front end; operate POS and scanner.
• Open/close store at least two days per week.
• Assist with employee scheduling and training; conduct safety meetings.

• Assist in inventory control and planograms; ensure accurate depots.
