Dollar Tree Stores INC seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development in Ruidoso, NM. The role includes assisting with daily activities, leading associates, and ensuring a clean, safe store environment.

Responsibilities cover opening/closing, merchandise flow, and adherence to company policies, with emphasis on helpful customer service and supervision of staff development in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and handle frequent walking, standing, and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize, and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional displays and fixtures.
